My 20 rules of living (inspired by Dalai Lama)

  1. Do not try to save energy or effort. The more energy you spend the more you will have.
  1. Embrace and welcome all new experiences but do not linger on after they don’t bring your life happiness.
  1. Dream and then make them come true.
  1. Do not blame others for your feelings. They are your feelings.
  1. Expect nothing. Welcome everything. See things just as they are, not good or bad.
  1. Don’t just be happy with the little things. Be happy with nothing.
  1. Write or read everyday. Reading is very inspiring and writing creative.
  1. Look at the sky as often as you can.
  1. Stay fit. Keeping yourself healthy is easier than trying to get in shape. It is often said that you only notice one’s value after you lose it. Do not make that mistake.
  1. If you make a mistake, learn from it and keep on moving forward.
  1. Don’t eat what you want. Eat what your body wants (it’s not animals).
  1. Do nothing that has no value
  1. Get out of your comfort zone.
  1. Stand tall and proud. Your body reflects your mind and your mind your body. Power pose!
  1. Aim high to get high. Aiming low will not get you high. Ever.
  1. Thoughts become words, words become actions, actions become habits, habits become personality, personality becomes your destiny. Be careful with your thoughts. (This ones not really mine, I heard it somewhere)
  1. If for you holidays are only a break from your everyday life, maybe you should make your life the way you want, so that you don’t have to take breaks from it.
  1. You are not your thoughts or your feelings. You can wheel them in the right direction, you can separate yourself from negative thoughts.
  1. Respect all life; human, animal and plant.
